The Machine Intelligence master’s program equips students to design, implement, and analyze intelligent systems, focusing on decision-making, learning, and web-based applications. Machine learning, a key component, enables computers to perform tasks by generalizing from examples, addressing the shortage of experts in various sectors. The course provides a foundation in Machine Intelligence and core computer science subjects. Machine intelligence technologies encompass diverse problem types and methods, from classification to natural language processing, reflecting the broad landscape of this field.

Entry-level requirement

B.Tech or BE in any branch OR B.Sc with Mathematics as a core or complementary subject OR BA Mathematics OR BCA with aggregate 60% marks or above. Relaxation in marks to reserved candidates as per University norms.

Students should have a valid GATE score or take CUET-PG (Test Paper Code: SCQP09) or DUAT (Digital University Aptitude Test) entrance test

Minimum entry requirement

Entry-level requirement is a minimum score of 60 percentage marks OR CPI/CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 points in the qualifying degree. Rounding off of marks is not allowed.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Persons with Disability categories are eligible for applying if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination.
Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination, provided that the candidates have passed the examination.

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year/ semester examination may also apply for the PG Programs provided that they satisfy the following two conditions.

  • Condition 1 ‐ That they have appeared/ are appearing for the final year/ semester exam in full and for the first time.
  • Condition 2 ‐ That they have passed all examinations prior to the final year/ semester.

Selected candidates are expected to submit all the original documents of mark lists, degree/ provisional degree certificates, migration certificate, etc. within a date specified by the University. If a candidate fails to submit the original certificates as proof of their eligibility by this date, the candidate may be asked to discontinue the program.

CYBER SECURITY : The graduates of this program can get hired as  Cryptography, Ethical Hacker, IT Auditor, Software Engineer, Security Engineer, Penetration and Vulnerability Tester, Security Analyst, Security Consultant,  etc. Further, graduates of this program will be able to pursue PhD research in cyber security.

MACHINE INTELLIGENCE: The graduates of this program can get hired as Machine Learning Researchers, AI Engineer, Data Mining and Analysis, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist and Business Intelligence (BI) Developer.

MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS: Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarship (except that of Flexible and Executive Masters Programs) 20% of the BPL category students eligible for MCM Scholarship from the University. The value of the scholarship shall be equivalent to 50% of their Tuition Fee for all semesters. The eligibility shall be based on the annual income of the parent and the merits of the students.
