Dr. Preetam Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SoCSE), Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (formerly IIITM-K), Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Prior to joining DUK, he was with the Division of Network and Systems Engineering (NSE), School of EECS, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, where he worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. He worked as a Sr. Software Engineer in IIT Kharagpur, India, and as a Sr. Research Engineer in the Center for Distributed Computing in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He received his Ph.D. and Master of Engineering from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Jadavpur University, in 2020 and 2011 respectively. His B.Tech degree is in Computer Science & Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India.
His research interests include information security metrics, security policies, business process modeling, security risk computation, etc. He was part of many successful research and development projects in India and in abroad. He also has experience in configuring big scale network and IT infrastructure for real-life academic ERP systems and architecting databases for academic ERPs.
