Dr. Christie Thomas Cherian is an assistant professor in the School of Electronic systems and Automation, Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (DUK), Trivandrum. Prior to joining DUK, he was with the department of Physics and electronics, Christ University Bangalore where he worked as an assistant professor. He worked as post-doctoral fellow in University of Manchester, UK and École Normale Supérieure France. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Physics, National University of Singapore. His MSc degree is in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala, India. His research interests include synthesis of graphene and other 1D and 2D nanomaterials and its application in energy storage devices, membranes and sensors.
