ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Any BSc/B.Tech/BCA/MBBS branch with minimum 60% in qualifying examination.
- Relaxation in percentage as per University norms for SC/ST/SEBC/Divyaang candidates.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS
DUAT with subject score of 40% or above OR
GATE qualified in EE/IN/ECE/BME/Physics OR
JAM qualified in Physics/Mathematics OR
GRE (Code: 3457) or
CUET-PG (Test Paper Code: MTQP05)
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Entry-level requirement is a minimum score of 60 percentage marks OR CPI/CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 points in the qualifying degree. Rounding off of marks is not allowed.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Persons with Disability categories are eligible for applying if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination.
Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination, provided that the candidates have passed the examination.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year/ semester examination may also apply for the PG Programs provided that they satisfy the following two conditions.
- Condition 1 ‐ That they have appeared/ are appearing for the final year/ semester exam in full and for the first time.
- Condition 2 ‐ That they have passed all examinations prior to the final year/ semester.
Selected candidates are expected to submit all the original documents of mark lists, degree/ provisional degree certificates, migration certificate, etc. within a date specified by the University. If a candidate fails to submit the original certificates as proof of their eligibility by this date, the candidate may be asked to discontinue the program.
Applied Physics: Graduates of Applied Physics programs are well-positioned for diverse career paths in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, consumer electronics, renewable energy, aerospace, and research and development. They may pursue roles as semiconductor engineers, VLSI design engineers, materials scientists, device physicists and technology consultants, among others.

MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS: Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarship (except that of Flexible and Executive Masters Programs) 20% of the BPL category students eligible for MCM Scholarship from the University. The value of the scholarship shall be equivalent to 50% of their Tuition Fee for all semesters. The eligibility shall be based on the annual income of the parent and the merits of the students.
